You can already see how simple Downtime Witness is to work with. Choose a name for the site and input its URL or IP address. If you have a setup with many web sites monitered, you can easily activate or suspend monitoring for each.

Another nice feature is the Internet connection verification option. Input some sites that you know are never offline and this ensures that it is your site that is offline and not your Internet connection. The alarm will activate if your site does not respond while at least one of these does.
